Ethically Sound.

Environmentally Friendly.

Nutritionally Beneficial.

Safe For All Beings.

Veganism...a little extreme right? I'm here to debunk some of the common misconceptions about veganism for you. Veganism is a lifestyle choice that is nutritionally, environmentally and ethically beneficial for you, our earth and all animals.

Nutrition: Eating a plant based whole foods diet has the ability to provide the human body with essential nutritients. It is also directly linked to reduce your chances of getting cancer as well as reversing it.

Environment: By eliminating all animal products (and yes this includes cheese, dairy and eggs) you can save 198 animals per year according to PETA. This means that you have also eliminated the water, grain, space and chemicals needed to produce those animals. Also you've avoided eating a dead corps and that's always a win.

Ethics: By deliberately abstaining from eating meat you are helping the environement, increasing your heath and taking a stand against murder. Animals are senient beings who, like any living breathing creature, do not want to die.

Up to 2.7 trillion fish are murdered each year. This estimate completed by the UK does not account for unwanted fish caught in the process or undocumented fish.

Food For Thought

In the U.S alone,117 million pigs were murdered in 2012.

Cows produce milk for calfs. This cow lactation is made to grow a small calf into a 2,400 pound bovine. Instead, humans drink these cow secretions. This means their babies cannot. Therefore, they are ripped away from them right after birth. In order to generate milk, cows are artificially inseminated... rather they are raped so that they can continuously produce milk.
